What I see in the card today is: you have some great skills and you know what you are doing. Don’t listen to people who say that you have to change how you do things and learn all the new ways to continue succeeding. Yes it is good to keep up to date with new technology and techniques but you don’t have to scrap all your past knowledge to keep up with it. You are good at what you do, and enjoy it. You don’t need to change, just continue to grow with the changing technology. You are doing things the right way for you.

As this card is reversed it means that a man who is not at the top of his trade or profession, other things are more important to him. What I see in the card today is: You are doing what you have to for the paycheque. Work is just a means to and end for you, not your life nor your passion. What your paycheque lets you do is more important then the job you have to do to get it. There are days when it is hard to go into work, but you know that you need to. Money is not what you are working for, but what you use the money for is.

To be blunt you work to have a place to live and food on the table. Your family is more important to you then the crap you deal with on a daily basis at your job. You know that you are not your job title, and that you have much more value then the work you do. You are part of a family and you have people that depend on you. To keep them safe and fed you will do whatever jobs you need to, even when others don’t give you respect because of your job.

This card is telling you that you have a lot to be proud of. You are one of very few people out there who sacrifice and do what they need to for their families. So your job is not great, easy or high paying, you are an incredible person full of hidden strengths and love. Sometimes you forget your value because of how others treat you. There are millionaires who don’t give as much as you do for your family. You are a hidden hero. Never forget that.

People are always trying to make other people happy, or to be friends with everyone. You cannot live like that, giving everything up just to keep others happy. What I see in the card today is: That you are busy trying to protect someone from them selves. You are wasting your time. The only person who can help that person is herself. You cannot make her see what she is doing, nor stop her from making mistakes. All you can do is be there when she needs a shoulder to cry on, or someone to yell at. As much as you care and want to be there, anything you do to help will only make things worse for her and you. Sure you might save her some pain now, but she will just fall into trouble when you are not there to help her. If she makes mistakes now then you can be there when she needs you, you may not be there latter. Also you can only do so much, you need to accept that she controls what she does, not you.

You need to start dealing with your own life first then help others out. You do no one any good if you burn out, or forget to take care of yourself. You need to find some way to make sure that you are not giving too much of yourself to others. Put some barriers up; don’t let yourself be so vulnerable. You have your own issues to deal with. Yes it is easer for you to deal with other people’s problems then with your own, but eventually you will have to deal with them.
