KING OF COINS Reversed. This card is usually about a man at the top of his trade or profession. It is reversed indicating someone not at the top of his or her trade or profession. What I see in the card today is: You are struggling to find a place or identity with in your chosen field. You want your name out there, to be well known and to be seen as one of the top people in that area. You are doing this because you want the big paycheck and the recognition you will receive by your peers. You don’t love your work; your work is just a means to an end. You may work as hard as you have to so that you are in the top of your field but you will never be at the top because you don’t have the passion for it. It is just work to you, not a life even though you are willing to do and give up just about anything to be at the top. It is not worth it because you will give up the things you love to be the best at something you don’t love. Do your best, but recognize that you are not going to enjoy life if you have to give up everything just to get a title and a paycheck. The title is empty if you don’t love what you are doing and the paycheck only lets you live a better life but if you are miserable all the time, what is the point. Reality check: if your job is just a job fine, do your best at it but don’t give up the things you love for it.
