Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for November 8 2008

KNIGHT OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about an emotionally sensitive man as it is reversed it is about a man who is not emotionally sensitive. What I see in the card today is: You would like to be more open, more sensitive but you have been burned too many times to let yourself be vulnerable. That may change one day once someone has earned your trust but until then you will do what you have to so you can protect yourself. You cannot afford to become emotionally attached to others until you know them well enough and have spent enough time with them to feel that they are going to still be part of your life tomorrow. You don’t want to risk emotional attachments if you don’t know it the person is going to be in your life for a long time. It is a catch 22 in that you are unable to bond with people for fear of being hurt so you are actually pushing the people in your life away because you don’t seem invested in them. Only you will know when you are ready to risk being hurt again, until then be prepared to be lonely and only have superficial friendships and relationships. That will not change until you are ready and able to be vulnerable and emotionally sensitive again.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for November 7 2008

KNIGHT OF SWORDS Reversed. This card is usually about the balance of power being in your favour as it is reversed the balance of power is not in your favour. What I see in the card today is: You don’t have control of the situation, you know it and so does everyone else. Stop trying to take the control today, it is just not meant to be today. Everything is in someone else’s hands today and you are not doing yourself any favours by trying to be in control. Just deal with the fact that someone else has the power today. Instead of trying to take the power, deal with it. Work with the person who does have the power and try to influence them with positively, not take over. If things don’t work out the way you want them then deal with it, and get on with your day. Be an adult about this, behave professionally and maturely. Tomorrow is another day and you will still have to deal with these people, how you deal with this is going to have a direct influence on how they see you, judge you and interact with you. Don’t burn yourself twice by being an idiot about this who thing.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for November 6 2008

FOUR OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about reaching out for new friendships as it is reversed it indicates that you are not reaching out for new friendships. What I see in the card today is: You are happy with the people in your life. Today you will learn to appreciate them and understand that you don’t need to bring in new people, your emotional needs are already being met. That does not mean you need to shut out new people or reject new friends, it just means that you have what you need in your life for now. They have your back. They are true friends and today they will pull together for you. Sometimes it is emotionally draining and it does not feel that they are always there for you but today they will show that they are, and that all the emotional ups and downs is worth it.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for November 5 2008

QUEEN OF WANDS Reversed. This card is usually about a woman of leadership, as the card is reversed it is about a man of leadership or a woman in need of leadership. What I see in the card today is: You need a break. You are burned out. For a change you would like someone else to take some responsibility instead of you having to do everything. You are tired of doing everything on your own and others costing along on your work. You would like a day without having to think or do, to lest someone else take control for the day, to take care of you for a change instead of it being the other way around. It is not that you want to give up control of your life but that you would like one day to relax, to not be responsible for everything, but to be able to just enjoy the day and lest someone else do the work for a change.
