Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for April 30 2008

TWO OF COINS. This card is about the same line of work, in a different place. What I see in the card today is: You very much enjoy your work, or job. You find it interesting and diverse enough and you take pride in what you accomplish. However you are not feeling valued at your current workplace. You do not feel part of a team, or that you are much more then your job title at your current workplace. You want more then that.

You want to work at a place where you feel appreciated and are treated as a valuable part of the team. You want to receive as much value as you put into your job. That you not only receive a paycheque that reflex the quality of your work and how much of your time and energy you invest into it, you also want the verbal and non verbal positive recognition for all the hard work you put into your job and how well you do it. You want to be an equal or at least near equal as those you work with and for, a valued part of the team.

A paycheque is not enough anymore. Enjoying your job is not enough anymore. You want to feel as if you are a part of something and that you are contributing. To do this you need to start looking for a new job now.

Do not let your employers know this as it is going to take time to find the right place, the right job, and the right employer. Do not limit yourself to your current geographical location in your job search. You need to start looking now, making the contacts and getting to know people so that when the right position comes up they think of you. There is not an opening now, but if you put the time and effort into letting people know that you are interested in working for them when one comes up it is going to pay off for you.

It is going to take some time so you need to keep your current job and keep looking and maintain any contacts you make. Eventually you will have the position and employer you want. They will not have any problem with you needing to give your current employer notice once you know you have a job with them.
