SIX OF WANDS Reversed. This card is usually about victory, successful attainment of your objectives. However it is reversed. This indicates that you are not successful in reaching your objectives. What I see in the card today is: You thought you won, you got your way, but you actually did not get what you wanted. In the winning, you lost. Winning was more important to you then the damage you were doing to get your way. There are just some things that you just cannot undo or take back once it is done. You lost sight of what you really wanted and concentrated on winning or being right. You lost the very thing you were fighting for.
You thought that if you got your way things would be one way and they are not. People don’t respect you because of your title, they may respect the title, but you as an individual have to earn their respect. Being right does not mean that you are going to be happy. As Dr. Phil has been known to say: “Would you rather be happy or right?” If being right is more important then dealing with others respectfully and considering their feelings and opinions to be just as valuable as your own it does not matter if you win or not, you lost.
It is time you refocused and re-evaluated your goals and objectives. What are you giving up for them and how are you going about it. Have you become so focused on the end goal that it is all you care about?
This is a warning card because you have tunnel vision so bad that you don’t even see the damage you are doing, the bridges you are burning. You are sacrificing things you don’t need to. There is nothing wrong with continuing going after your goal, just be more aware of what you are doing and rethink what you value.
