THE HIEROPHANT. This card is about the power behind the scenes as well as teachings and teachers entering one’s life. What I see in this card today is: Although you are part of the group and do participate you hold yourself back. You are a professional doing a job. Part of that job is to let others be as vulnerable as they need to be with out letting yourself become vulnerable but not be obvious about it. You need to be part of the group, but more as someone in control so that the other people in the group have the chance to learn what they need to. Someone has to steer the ship, and that is what you do. To be effective you have to in some ways be alone in a group of people, to hold yourself back. It is not an easy balance, to be part of the group and yet be apart from it, to control it and direct it to where people need to be. It takes skill and a very strong personality, and confidence with in oneself.
