THE LOVERS Reversed. This card is about obsessive relationships and refusal to learn from relationships. What I see in the card today is: Get over it already. You are not the first person to go through this, and you will not be the last. You are treating this as if you are the first person to ever go through this. You are not. It is time to stop obsessing about this and move on. Deal with it. Learn from it. Stop using it as an excuse to stop trying or living. You don’t want to let go, or give up. Guess what, you don’t have an option anymore. You cannot hold onto what is no longer there no matter how much you resist accepting it. You are holding on to nothing, and that is what you are going to get, NOTHING. It is time to make some changes for a better life for yourself, not to try and keep holding on to a life that has moved on without you. You can choose to enjoy life or wallow in self-pity. You decide!
