Get some training. Take night school or something. A change is not going to happen unless you put the work into it. You can decide to do nothing and stay where you are in life or you can do something about it. Bitching about it is not doing something! You need to improve your qualifications so you can get the job you want.

You would like be part of the beginning of something and see it all the way through. This has been a slow change from just wanting a pay check to wanting more value in your day to day work. But now you are not satisfied with just doing; now you want to be a part of something.

You are tired of looking at the paths you could have taken but feel they are no longer opportunities available to you. You need to find a new path or build your own path that gives you the feeling that what you do has importance other then the pay check every two weeks. You want to be a part of something. You know what you want and you even know what you have to do to accomplish it, get off your butt and do something about it.

You like what you do and who you are but feel that you are not being treated the way you should be. There is a struggle going on inside, do you risk trying to get a better job or stick it out where you are. Money is an issue in that you need it to pay the bills and you don’t want to risk the paycheck you already have just to get respect, but at the same time you don’t like working in a negative environment. It is starting to affect your self-esteem and health as will as your relationships outside of work. Only you know your value and what you can and cannot put up with.

By that I mean you feel you deserve more pay, more pats on the back, a better job title and all the perks, that your abilities should be recognized and appreciated. You don’t feel you are getting that where you are now. You like what you do, not so sure about the people you work with. I get the impression that you think you are better then the people you work with and deserve more then them. You are full of resentment that you don’t seem to be moving up the ladder of success, that you should be in a better position by now. The anger and frustration has been building for a long time and you are close to erupting.

It is time to look for a new start either in a different company or department. Start looking for a new job today, now. Start putting your resume out ASAP before you do erupt and do irreversible damage to your image and reputation. It is time for you to find the right place to work at, one where you feel you are a part of the team, are appreciated and respected. You are not going to get there where you are now. You have to make the change, just don’t quite until you have the other job.

What I see in the card today is: You are tired of doing the same old thing over and over every day. Nothing seems to change, or end. You see other people passing you by, moving on and advancing. They seem to be getting younger and younger. You need to stop, take a look at the big picture to see where you are and where you want to be. You need to refocus on the path to reach your goal, not get bogged down with the day-to-day things. By changing your focus you will start moving towards your goal, but you have to make sure you don’t get sucked back into dealing with day-to-day issues that are not going to help you reach your goals.

Keep looking, trying and improving your skills. It is the only way things will get better. Start looking today.
