You have grown with your work, developed as it changed. It is like your family or special contribution. You want to make sure it becomes more, gives you more. You want to invest more time and energy into your work, more then what you are willing or even interested in giving your personal life. Work is how you identify yourself; your strongest connections and feeling of accomplishment are found in your work. You are willing to give up a lot socially and personally to put more into your work. You need to find a balance, but keep enjoying what you do without giving up everything else.

SEVEN OF SWORDS. This card is about making an important but worthwhile sacrifice. What I see in the card today is: You are going to be asked or have been asked to make a sacrifice. It is going to be worth it to you. It is what you need to do for you, even if you don’t like it. This is not about giving up your kids or a huge part of your life, that is not the sacrifice the card is talking about. It is talking about giving up something that you may love but don’t actually need. Once you give it up you will find that yes you miss it but you don’t really need it. Your life is better off giving it up then keeping it.

THREE OF SWORDS Reversed. This card is usually about heartbreak, unless you can communicate. As the card is reversed it is indicating that what you say is not what will make the difference today, but your actions. What I see in the card today is: What you do, how you act or react is going to be more important then what you say. You can say what you want but it is your actions that people are going to judge you by. They have learned that just because you say one thing does not mean your actions always follow through. Keep in mind that people see what you do and respect that more then what you say. In other words if you say you are going to do something then do it, if you verbalize something then follow through with action.

What I see in the card today is: You want to make some changes at work, and there is an opportunity there for the taking if you could just recognize it. You are so busy looking at what you have to do that you are missing out on what you could be doing. Today take some time to look around, look at job postings, listen to what people are saying and you will discover the opportunity that you are looking for.

What I see in the card today is: You would like to feel that you are a part of something, not just a piece or cog in the machine of work. You would like be part of the beginning of something and see it all the way through. This has been a slow change from just wanting a pay check to wanting more value in your day to day work. But now you are not satisfied with just doing; now you want to be a part of something.
