What you will find is a bunch of people too apathetic to care about anyone but themselves. Others will be burnt out, or have been burned and hurt too much too often that they don’t want to take the risk anymore. They feel the need to protect themselves.

What you want is out there, just not today. And if you look at it realistically, you are not ready to find that person right now. Maybe today you need to give positive recognition to others in the hope that they will return it at a later date. Do the things you do today knowing no one is going to give you any recognition for doing it, but you do it anyway because it is the right way to be.

What I see in the card today is: Forget it. You are trying too hard. It is a wasted effort. They are never going to see past their noses. They notice when you don’t do things, but they will never notice all that you do. Let alone appreciate it. They are not that type of people. Give up, let it go, move on. Your family is just not going to connect with your value. You will always be to them what they want to or expect to see. They are users and nothing you do will change that or make them appreciate what you have done for them. Stop trying to earn their respect. They are unable to give it. The harder you try the more they take, the less they give back. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them.

What I see in the card today is: you are being undervalued, underestimated and not appreciated. You know it but don’t know what to do about it. You have two options, try and get the people around you to see your value or find new people. What you do is up to you. Just remember though that you do teach people how to treat you so if you don’t stop letting them walk all over you like a doormat nothing is going to change. It will not matter if you try harder to show your value or if you change the people in your life if you still let them walk over you.

You need to change what you find acceptable in your life, how people treat you. Once you find a way to believe in yourself and stand up for your self other people will start to treat you differently. It will not be easy but it is what you need to do if you want something different in your life. It is not going to happen in one day, you will have to work on it and value yourself for the rest of your life so others value you as well.
