FIVE OF CUPS. This card is about disillusionment, if you rely on the commitments of others. What I see in the card today is: You let someone have a chance and they let you down, again. It is emotionally fulfilling knowing that they need and rely on you but it is not fair on either of you. You need a life and so does he. Stop avoiding the big conflict. You know he is not going to do what he says and you know you will fight about it, but it is not the real issue. You have to deal with the real problems, even if it means the end. You both need to deal with this now. You have already wasted enough of your time on someone who is not going to take any responsibility as long as you accept it, and fix it all the time.

FIVE OF CUPS. This card is about disillusionment, if you rely on the commitments of others. What I see in the card today is: You have had expectations of people before and have been let down. The problem is that you expect people to do what you want and when you want it with out considering their needs and lives. This causes a lot of conflict in your life. Some how you always perceive it as if others are always letting you down, not that you place unreasonable expectations on others.

You are the type to call someone up and tell them that there is a fundraiser going on and that you volunteered them to do something, and here is the when and where. Then you get all put out when the person already has something planed for that day, or just does not want to do it. You take it as if they are letting you down instead of realising you took unacceptable liberties with their name and time. Being able to control others gives you some type of emotional fulfillment, but at the same time cause a lot of conflict.

You need to understand that if you want something done, you should be the one doing it, not expecting others to do it for you. If you do you are going to be let down. People don’t want to do what you want or expect them to do. You are setting yourself up for disappointment and conflict.

FIVE OF CUPS. This card is about disillusionment, if you rely on the commitments of others. What I see in the card today is: You need to depend on yourself today. Do not expect anything from other people. They are not going to be able to come through for you today. You need to deal with this yourself. No it is not going to be easy but you don’t actually have a choice. You deal with it or you don’t, that is up to you, but you have to pay the consequences either way.

FIVE OF COINS. This card means unforeseen expenses. What I see in the card today is: Yes money is an issue but not just money; there is your time and energy. The real message of this card though is to take a step back and re-evaluate where you are and where you want to be. You have lost sight of the big picture, you are caught up in the every day things and it is taking too much out of you. Refocus on what your goals are and concentrate on that what you are dealing with today is just another step to where you are going. It is so much easer to let go of the day-to-day issues when they are just part of a trip to get you to your goal. Don’t let them eat away at you, let it go.

FIVE OF CUPS. This card is about disillusionment, if you rely on the commitments of others. What I see in the card today is: That if you are emotionally invested in anything you need to make sure you are not dependent on or relying on one person to see it to completion. Make sure that you have several alternative plans, options and people responsible for things or do it all yourself. If you are getting a ride from someone you need to make sure you have a back-up ride or have a car available for your use if they don’t show up. Some times if you want it done right the first time you have to do it yourself. Remember other people are not as driven, motivated or dedicated to your projects as you are. What you want is not what everyone wants or even values. This is card is just a wake-up call so that you know that you need to make sure you are not dependent on others over the next few days. Also don’t have any expectations of anyone doing what they say they will or what you ask of them. If you do you will be let down.
