You are supposed to feel one way, it is expected of you. To be any different is just wrong somehow.

The truth is that you are not committed because it is not your commitment it is someone else’s and you are just expected to go along with it. They are committed so you are expected to be as well. Things just don’t work that way. Just because others feel one way does not mean you will as well. You will find your own things to be emotionally committed to eventually.

It is hard to keep being committed when you feel as if you are the only one, and that you don’t count for much in the relationship. You are past anger and frustration and have moved into the uncaring part. Something has to change or you need to remove yourself from the situation because you just don’t care anymore.

Then you have that special friend who does not want a commitment, just the sex so you let him practically live with you when your boyfriend/fiancée is not there. You have told your boyfriend/fiancée that if he wants to be with you he has to accept you sleeping with your fiend. You are burning a good thing because most people do not like being put into that situation and there self-esteem eventually stands up and say's enough is enough. You have more stress and turmoil in your life because of this. But that is part of the turn on and excitement. You are not going to change anytime soon. The people in your life need to accept that or move on. It is not about sex or emotional commitment for you, it is about control and power over others.
