QUEEN OF SWORDS. This card is about a determined woman, but with a barrier between her and others. What I see in the card today is: You are not willing to be used or hurt again. To keep yourself safe you have put a barrier between yourself and everyone who tries to get close to you. You just cannot risk going through it again. You are not ready to move on, let go, or even heal. You need time and space before you are going to let anyone else close to you again.

QUEEN OF SWORDS. This card is about a determined woman, but with a barrier between her and others. What I see in the card today is: A woman who has been hurt in the past who would like to be able to let others close, to be able to share and even love again. However the emotional damage is too much right now. She needs to do a lot of healing before she will be able to trust again. It may be months or even years if she does not get the emotional help she needs. At this point she is determined to get on with her life as if nothing has happened or changed, but she does not see the damage because she is trying to hid from it or deny that it ever happened. It is hard to heal what you don’t acknowledge. It is going to be difficult to deal with her or even help her. She is going to be pushing everyone away, one because people are expecting her to deal with things she would like to pretend never happened and second because she is pushing everyone away before they can hurt her. I don’t know how you can help her, other than just being there for her and making sure she does not hurt herself trying to pretend the past never was. It is a new year, and she has the chance to make a new beginning or start if she was just willing to try.

QUEEN OF SWORDS. This card is about a determined woman, but with a barrier between her and others. What I see in the card today is: Get over yourself. Yes you have goals, drive and ambition but what good does that do you if you keep pushing everyone away and loose the ones you love. Your needs and happiness is not more important then everyone else’s so stop acting like it. Deal with your issues or loose the very people that make your life worth living, the very motivation behind your drive and ambition. With out your friends and family all you have is work, and a paycheque and as nice as they are they cannot replace your friends and family. Reality check, make sure the people in your life are happy, sacrificing there happiness so you can succeed does not get you where you want to be.

QUEEN OF SWORDS. This card is about a determined woman, but with a barrier between her and others. What I see in the card today is: You are determined, strong and resourceful but lonely. You are searching for someone to share your battles and success with, but find that you are struggling.

You have built strong barriers, for your own protection, between yourself and others but now find them such a part of who you are that you no longer realise that they are there, nor know how to bring them down. You have moments of closeness but are not able to maintain that closeness.

It is going to be a struggle to let people in and get to know them, and them to know you. You need to learn how to do this and take the emotional risks or settle for superficial relationships. If you cannot be a real friend or more because you will not let that person into your life, or you don’t take the time to get to know them how can you expect other people to be able to be your friend. You have to be a friend to have a friend.

QUEEN OF SWORDS. This card is about a determined woman with a barrier between her and others. What I see in the card today is: You are so focused on the results or completion of a goal that you are missing out on everything else that is going on around you. You have lost touch with friends and family because you are so focused. You are sacrificing the very thing you are working so hard for. The goal has become more important then the trip to get there. You need to be dedicated and work hard but at the same time you need to enjoy your friends and family. What is the point of working so hard if you loose the very thing you are trying to help, your friends and family. A pay check is only money, it can be very lonely if that is all you have. What value does reaching a goal or getting a job title have if you sacrificed everything to get it? You need to value your friends and family and put time and energy into them as well, have a more balanced life.
