TEMPERANCE. This card is about reflection on one’s life and maturation. What I see in the card today is: Welcome to becoming an adult. You have reached a level in your life where you can look back at your past and not try to relive or recapture it. You have more important things to deal with now. Your past is your past and now is what you have to deal with. It is more important for you to move on then try to relive what you already had. It is a great thing to reach this point, it means you can move on with your life without the “I should of, could of, if only” distracting you from what you have.

THE HIEROPHANT Reversed. This card is about being stuck in tradition and unable to keep up with the times. What I see in the card today is that you are holding on to a belief system from the past that was not even true in its time. In other words some of the preconceived ideas about people are based on untrue data. Start formulating your own ideas about people, don’t rely on ideals from the past that did not work then and don’t work now. Value people for who they are, not their skin colour, age, sex, marital status or even sexual orientation. The so called 50’s wives and family life is not how things really were back then, the values and ideals were not true then, nor are they now. Only some people lived that way, or tried to. It is always easy to look at the ideals of the past with huge filters on that only show what we want to see, not the reality. Don’t try and live your life, and base your values on something that was not even true. Make your own life, find your own values that fit reality and the life you actually live. You will be a lot happier.

QUEEN OF SWORDS Reversed. This card is usually about a determined woman, but with a barrier between her and others. It is reversed indicating a man or woman who needs barriers between him/her and others as well as more determination. What I see in the card today is: You need more back bone. Stop giving in and giving up your ideas and dreams just because it does not fit with someone else’s. You need some space to develop yourself, and learn to value your opinions and ideas. You are actually a lot better at things then you think you are, or I should say the people in your life let you think you are. If all you hear is native opinions about yourself, your abilities and ideas you start to believe that. You need to get out of this person’s or peoples influence and give yourself a chance. If you don’t then you will just keep believing what they have to say, and it is not true.

THREE OF WANDS. This card is about leading others by example. What I see in the card today is: You are making some emotional decisions today. How you handle making the decisions, and even the decisions you make are influencing someone important in your life. They are seeing what you are doing and how you are handling things and are taking all their cues from you. You are showing them how to deal with things, now and in the future.

THREE OF CUPS. This card is all about a reunion with friends. What I see in the card today is: There are a couple of people you have not seen in sometime. You think of them and the time spent with them fondly but don’t make any effort to contact them or try to relive the past. You are going to see them today. You will make the time to talk with them and find out how they are doing. However you are not going to make a big effort to become great friends again, they are part of your past, something you have grown away from. To try and maintain a close friendship again will only be stressful and full of conflict. That does not mean you will not stay in contact and occasionally get together to talk about old times and what is new. You are all comfortable with this, you all have different lives now but it is nice to talk every once in a while.

FOUR OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about reaching out for new friendships. It is reversed indicating that you are either not reaching out for new friends or rejecting a friendship. What I see in the card today is: You have the chance at making a new friend today, but you don’t see it. You are cought up in the emotional turmoil of your existing friends. You don’t see past them to see the other people interested in friendship. It is not that you are rejecting them, you just don’t notice it. You are missing out. You need to start seeing the other people around you and be more receptive to friendship, even if it means that you take the first step and start talking to other people. Your life should not revolve around your two friends this much. You need to have a life of your own, and other friends. This does not mean reject your current friends, but to add to your social contacts.

QUEEN OF CUPS. This card is about an emotionally sensitive woman. What I see in the card today is: You are tired of always being ruled by your emotions. Sometimes you see it as a weakness, and yet others see it as one of your greatest strengths. It is a huge part of who you are and it would be wrong to try and change that. That does not mean don’t learn from your mistakes, but don’t lose the part of you that lets you care and be empathetic. Because you have been there for so many people your life has been full of people who genuinely care about you. You may not see it but you actually receive back more then you give, don’t let one or two bad apples ruin that for you. Accept that you do have a lot of positive emotions being given back to you, and that you are appreciated by most of the people you have touched.

What I see in the card today is: You want to make a change, you need to make a change but you are not going to do it today. You have a lot invested in this relationship, not just your emotions. It is hard for you to let you of your emotional investment it is also scary for you to even think about starting a new relationship. You worry that it is going to be the same. You need to let yourself have some time to adjust. You know that things have to change, and that you are the one that has to act, you are just not going to do it today.

DEATH. This card is about clearing away of negative conditions in order to make way for new more positive influences. What I see in the card today is: You are making some changes in your life. You are trying to move away from the stagnation you have fallen into. You want to clear up things from your past, or at least stop hanging onto them and move on. You are looking to have a new start, a new beginning and a better life. It is going to be hard to let go of your past and no longer living in memories and actually living in the real world again. It has become your comfort zone but today you start to make the changes. You need to do this, it is time.

TEN OF SWORDS. This card is about being unable to have an effect of change influences going around you. The need to just go along with the flow. What I see in the card today is: You are all tangled up in a mess of circumstance, consequence and an unwillingness to deliberately hurt yourself or others. In other words you are trying to make the best of a bad situation knowing that if you had made different decisions you would not be in the mess in the first place. But you are doing everything you can to prevent it from becoming worse. You are just going to have to let things run its course. There is not much you can do at this point but wait and hope for the best.
