Great, now do something about it. If you really want people to follow in your footsteps do something worth following. Take the risk, take a stand, do something. You cannot lead if you are always playing it safe, not rocking the boat and doing what is self serving or politically safe. That is not the way to accomplish things, waiting or following. You have to take the lead to be a leader. Don’t wait for people to follow, just start doing the right thing and if it is worth following you example people will. Sitting around wishing to be a leader gets you nowhere. Stop thinking and wishing and start doing. It is simple. You cannot lead other by example if you are not doing anything.

You understand that you should follow her advice. Why do you need to hear from me as well before you do what you already know you have to? It is not like there are other options open that will give you what you want. So what is holding you back? You know the advice is dead on, take it.

This has to do with making sure what you need to happen happens. If you don’t lead today you will forever follow. Get of you behind and take action and lead.

It is as simple as that. What you do today will have a strong impact on others. You will motivate and light the passion in them. It will have a direct impact on you in the future. Several years down the road today will pay off for you. You need to hear that you are actually reaching people and will make changes. It is hard to see how what you do today can change your life in a few years, but it will. Have the strength to keep on going knowing that you are having an impact. You just will not see it anytime soon.

THE TOWER Reversed. This card is about unsafe foundations for any project. Things precariously built up. What I see in the card today is: You are getting confused over what you want and what you actually need. You need to get back on track. Yes it is great to know what you want and go for it but you always have to make sure you have what you need first. Life is does not let you live on candy and ice cream you still have to eat real food. You may want the candy and ice cream but your body needs real food like vegetables. You can make a house look anyway you like and fill it with all the fancy gadgets you want but it will not do you much good if the foundation was not built properly. You may want a home that has everything in it but it will not stand or be safe to live in if the basic foundation is faulty.

You have this idea that you should get what you want now and not have to do all the work for it. You are taking shortcuts and it is going to bite you on the butt if you don’t stop. You need to make sure you have what you need before you take what you want otherwise you will loose what you want and not have what you need. In other words pay your rent, fill your home with food then buy the TV or car or the vacation, not before.

THREE OF WANDS. This card is about leading others by example. What I see in the card today is: You have to start walking the talk today. If you expect people to act one way, then you have to act that way. What ever you expect in others you need to start doing yourself. Today “do as I say not as I do” is not going to cut it. People see what you do and hear what you say, and know when they don’t match. Today is a day you want to do as you say. You will not like the results if you don’t.

THREE OF WANDS. This card is about leading others by example. What I see in the card today is: You have been doing what you do, work and recreational, because you love it and are passionate about it. You have three main passions that take up your time and energy, but it is worth it to you. What you may not have noticed is that your passion and joy is contagious. You have been influencing and inspiring others to try some of the things you do, and they become passionate about it as well. Others are not, but you inspire them to find something else that they are just as passionate about. This is not something you have tried to do. You just love your work and hobbies and others see that and it makes them look for things that they can enjoy as much as you enjoy yours. Keep it up; it gives people motivation and dedication. It directs people to finding joy in their lives.

THREE OF WANDS Reversed. This usually means leading others by example. However the card is reversed so it means that you are following, not leading. What I see in this card today: You are not happy about having to follow. It is not your idea but circumstances have forced you to follow someone else’s lead to get to where you want to be. You resent that you are not in charge and feel that you can do a way better job then the person in charge. You have a hard time doing what this person is asking of you. You feel that there are a lot better ways to accomplish the same results faster and more efficient than what you are being asked to do. It is very hard for you to keep your comments to yourself and your frustration is starting to show and it is just going to get worse the longer you have to work under this person. You need to get you resentment under control. There is a reason why you have to go through this right now. If you are not able to work with this person all you are showing is that you have a problem working with others and you are not a team player. As long as people’s safety is not in question just deal with it and do your job. Vent to your friends not your co-workers. You may be right, and would love to show every one how well you could do the job and that the wrong person is in charge. Suck it up, this is part of what you have to go through; don’t burn your bridges for some thing so small.
