That is not the right direction to go. There is hope, you just need to reach out and grasp it. There is inspiration if you are willing to take your blinders off and be willing to look beyond work and thinks that benefit your position. It is all about coming to a realization that you are not your job. That you need to deal with things outside of work. That work should not consume you the way it does. You are using work to run away from real life. You want something better, a happier life. Well you have to start building one. Just the way you had to invest yourself into your work you have to invest yourself into your life.

This card is talking about realizing those hopes and dreams by taking action. It is not enough to just think about it, you have to do it. Act on it. Realize it by work on it. No one can win the lottery without buying a ticket. No one can get a job without applying. No one can succeed without effort.

It is telling you to enjoy what you have as you dream about what you would like to have. Don’t get lost in trying to obtain your goals and forget to appreciate what you have right now. You need to enjoy the journey as much as the destination because that is what you are going to judge your life on, the experience not the job title or paycheque. THE STAR reversed. This card means false sense of security. What I see in the card today: I see that you expect that as long as you do a great job and work hard you are secure. You even sacrifice your personal life and things that you enjoy to make sure you put everything into your job. You are giving up way too much and it is not going to be worth it. A job is just a job, not your life. Yes it is important to do a good job and keep your job, but if your job becomes your life you are missing out on every thing else and today there is no such thing a job security. Not even when you own your own company. You need to find a balance between work and the rest of your life. You need to be more aware of what is going on in your life, and to also think about what you would do if you lost your job. Start thinking about your options and start building a nest egg so that you have the money to fall back on if some thing does happen. You need to create your own security not expect your job to provide it.
