Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for September 3 2009

The Tarot Card of the day is: SIX OF CUPS Reversed. This tarot card is usually about learning about living in harmony with those around you. The tarot card is reversed indicating that you don’t need to learn about living in harmony with those around you, or you may need to learn to live with disharmony.

What I see in the tarot card today is: You are emotionally drained. You are not as politically correct or willing to go with the flow or compromise as you usually are. Today you wake up and realize none of that has been helping.

There is a fine point between maintaining harmony and being taken advantage of. You have been letting people walk all over you in the effort to keep everyone happy, or at least avoid conflict. You are not doing yourself any favours doing this. Stop.

It is not your responsibility to always be the one to give things up or do extra work to keep the harmony. It is not all on you, stop taking it on yourself. Let others be responsible for themselves and their actions.

Put yourself first today. Don’t take things just so that you don’t make waves. Today make as many waves as you need to so that you can establish the fact that you are no one’s wiping boy, servant or door mate. You don’t have to be mean, cruel or even rude. Just be firm, say no and draw the line in the sand and hold fast to your resolve.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for June 26 2009

The Tarot Card of the day is: SIX OF CUPS. This tarot card is usually about learning about living in harmony with those around you. It is reversed indicting learning about living in disharmony with those around you. What I see in the tarot card today is: Stop trying to please everyone. You are not pleasing anyone this way, and you are unhappy. Not everyone has to like you. You don’t have to like everyone either. Accept it. Find a way to live with your differences and get on with your life. Stop changing yourself or suppressing your needs and wants to please others. It is not working, so it is a wasted effort and you are not getting anything out of it. Just stop. You want to make people happy, fine. Start with yourself. Once you are happy with yourself and your life than worry about making other people happy within your life. Don’t change your life, include them. Accept the differences and that you are never going to please everyone. There will always be someone unhappy with your choices and decisions. Just make sure it is not you.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for September 22 2008

SIX OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about learning about living in harmony with those around you. It is reversed indicating you need to learn how to live with out being in harmony with those around you. What I see in the card today is: Go your own way, your own path. Nothing you are ever going to do is going to make everyone happy. What is more important, your happiness or others? Only you can decide that. What are you willing to give up to make others happy? What are you not willing to change or give up? Should you really have to stop being yourself and sacrifice yourself? It all depends on what is important to you and you know it. This is not so much about living in harmony or disharmony it is about finding out what decision is the right one for you. Compromise is the key today, though it is only for today, you have to choose what you are going to do. Neither one of you is going to be happy but at least now you have something to work on. A chance to figure things out, what do you value more right now being happy doing your own thing or someone else happiness? It is not going to be easy but you need to deal with it today so you can resolve it tomorrow. No mater what you do you are going to lose something, have to give up something that makes you happy.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for August 2 2008

SIX OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about learning about living in harmony with those around you. It is reversed so it is about learning to live without being in harmony with those around you. What I see in the card today is: You need to go your own way. You beat your own drum, take the less beaten path or even make your own path. You are an individual who does not fit within other people’s expectations. You are going to do your own thing and not worry about fitting in anymore. You need to accept that this is just they way things are. People have expected you to change to fit them, but that is just not how it works. They are not willing to change to accommodate you so why do they expect you to do so for them. People are just going to have to learn to accept you for who you are not who they want you to be. It takes strength to not conform.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for July 28 2008

SIX OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about learning about living in harmony with those around you. It is reversed which indicates that you need to understand that don’t always have to live in harmony with those around you. What I see in the card today is: Sometimes you have to fight for what you want and believe in. There are times when you have to take a stand, be yourself and protect yourself. You don’t have to compromise all the time to keep everything in balance and harmony. There are times when it is more important to fight for what you need, not give it up to make other people happy.

Life is not about getting along with everyone all the time. There is way more important things like getting to work on time, or making sure you get paid for that work. There is a saying “you cannot please everyone no matter what you do someone will not like it” and it is true. It is more important to take care of you and yours then make other people happy. Sometimes you have to take a stand, today is that day.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 6 2008

SIX OF CUPS Reversed. This card is usually about learning about living in harmony with those around you. As this card is reversed it indicates learning about not living in harmony with those around you. In other words you cannot please everyone no matter what you do. What I see in the card today is: There comes a time, that despite working with others toward a common goal, you realise that you just don’t work well together. It does not matter that you like the same things and are trying to accomplish the same thing. All that matters is that you rub each other the wrong way; you have different ways of communicating, different ways of doing things, different priorities, different ideas on how to best accomplish the same end.

You are learning that just because you want to get along with people and accomplish something it does not mean you are going to be able to. There is a wonderful saying; “You can please some of the people some of the time, but you cannot please all the people at the time.” This card is letting you know that it is ok not to get along with everyone or even like everyone even if you do have the same goals and need to work together. Time to accept it, and deal with it. It may mean that you will have to try and accomplish you goals with different people, or learn to grit and bear it until you have accomplished the goal, move on with your life and never work with them again.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for March 14 2008

SIX OF CUPS Reversed. This card means learning about living in harmony with those around you. It is reversed today so it means learning that you do not needing to live in harmony with those around you. What I see in the card today is: That you have just realized that you don’t have to make everyone else happy. That you can have what you want, that you have as much right as anyone else to have things your way. It is a hard lesson to learn. People are always trying to make other people happy, or to be friends with everyone. You cannot live like that, giving everything up just to keep others happy. It is too hard to keep everyone happy, everyone but you. There comes a time when you need to put yourself first, and that time is now.
