KING OF CUPS. This card is about an emotionally mature man, capable of giving and receiving love. What I see in the card today is: You have an image of being a strong person, who is a leader that people admire and are happy to follow. At the same time you are seen as a loner who needs his space. It is not that you push people away, but that you have this aura of calm and strength around you, that you don’t actually need people, but that you accept them. People find it unusual that you are willing to show your feelings, both good and bad. You are not afraid to cry, hug, love or show dislike. You understand your emotions, accept them and deal with them.
You don’t let your emotions control you though. Just because you dislike someone does not mean you try to harm him or her, same as you will not let someone you love get away with treating you or others badly. Sometimes your emotions can be a burden because they do influence how you are seen, and how you treat others. People do try to use them against you, or to give themselves some leverage. However, you are much more respected by those around you because you do show your emotions, and share them. You let people know you care and that takes a lot of strength.
People learn that just because you are willing to show your emotions do not make you a patsy that can be manipulated. You are too strong and intelligent for that. Your people are incredibly loyal to you and know that your willingness to show emotions is strength, not a weakness. Also that it does not take away from your leadership, business savvy, or bulls**t meter. People are willing to work for you and have you as their leader because you are strong, smart, successful, and you let them know you care.
