Tarot card of the day for December 2 2013 - Unusual I pulled four cards for today.

Today's reading is a little unusual.  I felt the need to pull four cards, not one.  Also once I pulled them they did not feel right until I turned them all.  So the first three were actually reversed and the forth one was face up.  I changed them so that the first three were face up and the forth one was reversed.  Not something that usually happens, but it felt right this way so I am sticking with it.  Also what I see in the cards today is not typical or usual.

The first tarot card of the day is: ACE OF SWORDS. This tarot card is about having a breakthrough.

What I see in the tarot card today is: conflict and turmoil.  What is significant about this card today is the conflict and willingness to take a stand, not the breakthrough.  Usually when I see this card there are options, doorways, or new pathways and opportunities though there is always an easy path and a difficult path. Today it is about standing your ground, not being afraid of the conflict, turmoil or what you could be giving up.  This is not a card full of joy, bubbles and rainbows even though they are in the actual card.  It seems to be more about taking a stand.  The card just keeps repeating that it is about taking a stand, and deal with the conflict.

The second tarot card of the day is: PAGE OF CUPS. This card is about new social contacts.

What I see in the card today is: today you will need to trust those around you, even people you just met. Today is not a day for strangers in a crowd but standing together despite any differences.  This is not about socializing but finding strength in each other and in numbers.  I see the need to support each other, even though you started out as strangers in a crowed, you will not be strangers at the end of the day.  This is not about friendship or emotional fulfillment but survival and the need for others.

The third tarot card of the day is: NINE OF WANDS. This card is about the need to take down your barriers and let other people support you.

What I see in the tarot card today is: Today is not the day to stand alone.  It is the passion and fire of the group that is needed for survival, to get through this.  This is about helping others and accepting help.  Don't try to be the strong one or the leader, it is more important to lead when you are needed, follow when that is required of you and to stand shoulder to shoulder with those around you, not ahead or behind anyone else.  It is not a day for independent strangers but a strong community not willing to sacrifice anyone despite personal differences.

The fourth tarot card I did not feel the need to pull until after I had pulled the first three and turned them around.  Suddenly I needed the fourth tarot card.  So this reading is even more unusual.

The fourth tarot card of the day is: KNIGHT OF WANDS Reversed. This card is usually about dynamic male energy as it is reversed there is a lack of energy.

What I see in the card today is: A loner, without drive, passion or self worth.  They are angry about nothing and everything at the same time.  They want to protect themselves, but not others.  They feel the need to harm others to feel better about themselves, their lives and their anger.  It is easier to blame others than it is to take responsibility for their choices and lives.  What I find interesting is that at first it was a loner, one.  But then it became many who are loners but are pulled together by their hate, anger and oddly enough a feeling of desperation.  It starts with one, but becomes many.  I don't know why, but this is what everyone must take a stand against.  I see the desire to hurt others, but also the desire to end their own pain with their deaths by their hands or others.  It does not have to be this way! It may only take one act of kindness, one person willing to take a stand, willing to accept strangers or it may take a large group of people willing to put themselves at risk to stop this.

I don't know why my cards are telling me this.  They were reluctant to work with me today, sticking together and not shuffling easily.  I changed my focus from what will happen tomorrow to what do I need to know and the cards stopped sticking, and resisting.  They shuffled smoothly and worked with me once I changed what I asked.  I also knew I had to pull three cards and then lay them down 3,2,1 not 1,2,3.  I also changed it from reversed to face up.  Then I needed the fourth card.  I have learned over the years to listen to my feelings, or gut instincts.  I have to go out  tomorrow, and I don't want to now.  May this be just the need for people to support each other, the homeless and needy and not something harmful and deadly.

Tarot card of the day December 1 2013 the six of swords reversed

The Tarot Card of the day is SIX OF SWORDS Reversed. The tarot card is reversed indicating staying in or getting into a negative situation or that it takes longer to move away or out of a negative situation.. What I see in the tarot card today is: The feeling of stress, of things closing in.  That things are becoming more and more difficult.  Options are few, and so is money, time and energy.  For me it talks about opportunities lost, regrets and struggling to change, to get out of the hole, both financial and emotional. I don`t see an easy path, just stress and frustration as you head down the very path you wish to avoid.  I wish this was a much more positive card, but it is not.  There is a feeling of helplessness and a lack of hope.  I hope that all who see this recognize it and try to break the pattern, find something to be happy about and look forward to.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 12 2010

The Tarot Card of the day is PAGE OF SWORDS Reversed. This card is usually are warning to not to rush into battle, it is reversed indicating that battle may not be avoided or that you need to jump in and not hold back this time.

What I see in the tarot card today is: There comes a point where you have to choose not to back down, to take a stand for a change. This is the time for you. Compromise and maintaining harmony can be a positive thing. However, there is such a thing as being too good and giving up too much to avoid conflict. Sometimes conflict is needed, if nothing else to help maintain balance.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 11 2010

The Tarot Card of the day is SIX OF WANDS Reversed. This card is usually about victory, successful attainment of your objectives, as the card is reversed you are not successful in this.

What I see in the tarot card today is: You know that you have not done what you need to so that you could be successful. Why would you expect to succeed if you have only done less than half of what needed to be done? Did you think someone else would pick up the slack and then let you take the credit? That may have been how things happened when you where younger but that is not how things are now. Get used to it and start taking responsibility for yourself and your actions.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 10 2010

The Tarot Card of the day is EIGHT OF WANDS. This tarot card is about things around you speeding up.

What I see in the tarot card today is: You did not expect things to happen so quickly. You thought you had lots of time to make decisions and act on them. Suddenly you have no time, and the pressure is on. You are going to have to rush around trying to keep up with the expectations and demands. Once you get organized it will be fine, until then though you will be running around struggling just to make it through the day.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 9 2010

The Tarot Card of the day is NINE OF WANDS. This card is about the need to take down your barriers and let other people support you.

What I see in the tarot card today is: Don’t keep trying to do this on your own. Right now you need to take it step by step and let other people help you each step. Yes you are a strong person, but that does not mean that you have to do it on your own. There are people there who can help, and want to help if you would just let them. Today you need to let go of your fears and need to control and get the help you need.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 8 2010

The Tarot Card of the day is Three of Coins. This tarot card is about learning new skills, developing new abilities.

What I see in the tarot card today is: To cope with the next few days you need to change how you deal with things. You need to learn new skills to deal with the changes and people in your life. Your old ways of dealing with things are not going to work this time. Instead you have to grow, learn, and develop. No more doing things the same old way, it does not work any longer. Just because it work in the past does not mean it will work today.

You have to choose to change, or become lost and unable to achieve your goals. If you fight or resist changing how you do things you are going to lose the very thing you are trying to gain. Trust me it is going to be worth it to find new ways of doing things. You need to grow, develop, and change instead of being stagnant, unmoving and stuck.

Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for May 7 2010

The Tarot Card of the day is FIVE OF SWORDS. This tarot card is about crossed swords, and a parting of ways.

What I see in the tarot card today is: There is going to be a parting of ways today, a fight, argument or disagreement that snowballs into a separation. What happens next is up to you. You can let it go or you can try to repair the damage.

The problem is that I don’t see you wanting to repair anything. Your feelings are hurt and you are tired of being treated as if your opinions, wants and needs don’t count. There are enough people treating you badly, you have had it and have drawn the line in the sand. It stops today. You are willing to throw away what you have to change how people treat you instead of working with them to treat you better. It may simply be that you know of no other way to do this, or feel it is too hard to change how people see you. No matter what, you need to do what is right for you to stop being used and abused.

However, changing the people in your life is not going to change a thing unless you make some real changes in your life, how you feel about yourself. You let the people in your life treat you this way, so you need to find out why and change it. Otherwise there is no point in letting new people into your life. Not if you are going to let them treat you badly as well. It is not the people that have to change, but you and how you let people treat you.
