Dragon Tarot Card of the Day for February 28 2008

KNIGHT OF COINS Reversed. This card is usually about a man who wants to develop the work side of his life, as it is reversed it is about someone who does what they have to, not what they want to. What I see in the card today is: That there is a young man who is working incredibly hard to protect someone else, a younger girl and boy. I see that he is giving up everything he wants to provide for them, even though it is incredibly frustrating. Their family has left them to fend on their own, not that it is much different then when they were there. They never took care of them, this young man has. He is to young to have this responsibility, but he takes it on because he knows that if he does not his family will be taken away from him. You need to open your eyes and see what is in front of you and get off his back and see what he is going through and help him, not hinder him. This young man is doing for his family what his own family would not do for him, providing for them. All he needs is a guiding helping hand, not a hand out. He needs understanding and compassion. He needs someone to take the role of parent or mentor, not another adult taking advantage of his desperation to keep his family together, healthy and safe. You are in a position to be that person, a parent figure or mentor who will provide guidance and security for himself and his family. All you have to do is stop turning a blind eye on his difficulties and see what is actually going on, not what you think is going on. If you don’t he is not going to be able to do this much longer and they will be taken apart. At this point he has not turned to crime, but soon he may have to so that he can keep a roof over their heads. Once he does, there will be no going back. He is already full of hate and anger toward the people who have abandoned him, soon he will start feeling that way about all the people who saw but did not care and then eventually all he will have is hate and anger, even for those he is trying to save.

THE HERMIT. This card is about withdrawal and reconsideration. What I see in the card today is: That you have too much on your plate, to many demands and no time for yourself. You have some real reasons to mistrust those around you and some of the things that have been happening. This is real not just something in your head. You need to take the time away from the source of your problems and turmoil. Take some time for yourself and take a real look at your fears, the information you have and what you think is going on. You are also going to want to find someone not connected with this at all and bring him all the information and have him help you evaluate it. Don’t discount your gut instinct just because you don’t have proof. You are feeling that way for a reason. If you have the time and money to have someone do some investigating for you then do so. It will provide the answers you so clearly want and need to take action. If you don’t have the time or money then do what you can without breaking the law or placing yourself or others into danger.

THE MAGICIAN. This card is about putting across your message to a much wider audience and reason. What I see in this card today is: That you have a discovery that will help people, but no one seems to be listening. You cannot get funding, even though you know this needs to be made. At this point you don’t care about the money you could earn on it anymore, just what good it can do for people. You need to get your message out to more people so the right people can find out about it. What you are going to find is that, one you are not going to make any money on this. Two that other people have been doing similar research. What you have done would be a great help to others doing the similar research. However unless you all get together nothing is going to happen. Stop trying to commercialize this, it is not going to happen. You can still help people by sharing what you have, and this will advance other research in both this area and other areas. Sometimes money is not as important as getting the information to the right people and having a positive impact on other lives.

TWO OF CUPS. This card is about a new relationship starting, or a new phase in an existing relationship. What I see in the card today is: That you are moving from just one emotionally fulfilling relationship to another. I don’t see you giving up the first one for the second one, but that you are just moving on in life and having joy both in your past and your future. This is part of growth and change in life. I don’t see anyone being hurt by this change so enjoy having such wonderful people in your life.

THREE OF CUPS. This card is about reunion with friends. What I see in the card today is: That you are going to get to see two of your old friends after what feels like a long time. The three of you will enjoy some time talking about old times and finding out what everyone is up to now. What you will find is that as much as you enjoy each others company, you are very different people now. You don’t click as well as friends anymore. Some conversations will bring out the emotions and will become stormy. You have to be careful because the other two people have stayed friends and you will feel like a third wheel at times. You don’t want your resentment of this take away from the time you spend together.

THE HIGH PRIESTESS. This card is about being guided by your intuition. What I see in the card today is: You have already gone through several different stages of growth and development. You still have a ways to go on this path. You are still on your journey of self-growth and development. You are vary much attune with nature and what is going on with Earth, such as the seasons. Where you have a problem is that you find that you are to empathetic. It is too difficult for you to separate yourself from other people’s problems and emotions. This is a reminder card telling you to listen to what your gut and head are telling you. Have confidence in your ability to identify people and situations that you need to avoid, and others that really do need your help. You also need to recognize how far you have come and that you know what are the next steps you need to take to continue your journey. Believe in yourself and your abilities and you will go far. Let others doubt enter and you will fall back and end up being who they want you to be not the person you are meant to be.

THREE OF SWORDS. This card is about heartbreak, unless you can communicate. What I see in the card today is: That you are in a hard and difficult situation. You are not quite sure how to get out of it. All you know is that if you don’t find a way a lot of people are going to be hurt including you. You have had problems getting people to listen to you and actually follow what you are saying, not hearing what they expect to hear. Right now you have to find some way to clearly communicate and avoid heartbreak. Unfortunately I just don’t see it happening because you got yourself into a really big hole and to be blunt you chose to get yourself into this situation and if it were up to you nothing would change. You want to have your cake and eat it too. If the wrong person had not seen you in the wrong place and called you on it you would have left things alone. The only way out of this with the solution you want is if you lie through your teeth and never stop lying. You have a hard enough time getting people to believe the truth you are not going to be able to lie well enough. You are going to have to come clean and hope that the people you are hurting care enough about you to listen to you and maybe forgive you. If you lie then that is all you will have. If you come clean you have a chance, a small one of saving at least one relationship. Go with the truth even though it is going to hurt you, the lies will hurt you more in the long run.

KNIGHT OF SWORDS Reversed. This card is usually about the balance of power being in your favour. As this card is reversed in indicates that the balance of power is with someone other then you. What I see in the card today is: That you are dealing with an issue where you want to be able to protect someone. However you are not able to do so, it is not up to you and you are not in a position to do anything. You can do what you can but it is not going to be enough, someone else is controlling the situation and pulling the strings. All you can do is let her know what you think, and let her know that you are there for her and will do what you can. The truth is that she is the only person that can make any changes to get out of this situation, and until she does there is nothing anyone can do. She is choosing to be in this situation and to stay in it.

THE FOOL. This card is about a new chapter opening in one’s life, originality and eccentricity. What I see in this card today is: That you are taking unusual risks in an attempt to change your current position in life. You would like to rise above your current life and are willing to take risks to get out of it. This is not a bad thing if you take reasonable risks, but is seems as if you are willing to take many chances, putting much at risk. You are putting your current lifestyle at risk. There are some risks worth making, but a gamble is not. At this point there will be some changes coming, what I don’t see is what direction it is going to be. Your life is going to get better or much worse. It is a 50/50 chance. This is not good. You need to take a realistic look at what you’r doing and decide is it worth loosing what you already have?

ACE OF WANDS reversed. This card is usually about a new initiative. As this card is reversed it means a lack of initiative or that you have turned your back on an opportunity. What I see in the card today is: That you still have some learning to do. You have a lot of knowledge but not the knowledge that you need. You seem to be seeking what you want to do with the knowledge that you have but it is not what you actually want to do. So you have to re-evaluate what your goals are, and how to get to the ones that you actually want, not what makes other people happy. You are not going to be motivated or inspired to do things or to take the initiative if you are doing it for someone else. You need to find what is going to motivate you, which is yours, not something someone else expects you to do. Until you work this out and figure out what you really want to do you are just going to go through the motions, doing as little as you can because you don’t like it. When you find the right thing you will have initiative, until then you will never get anywhere. Stop now, don’t waste anymore time on the wrong path, find the right path NOW, or you may find that you wasted most of your life doing something you hate trying to make other people happy.
